Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode Three Confirms Order 66 Fates Of Forgotten Jedi

The third episode of Obi-Wan Kenobi appears to have confirmed that three forgotten Jedi managed to survive Order 66.

Ewan McGregor is back in action as Obi-Wan for the first time in 15 years, with the new Disney+ series detailing the journey of his character after he was forced into hiding as a result of the order.

The third instalment of the series dropped on Wednesday (June 1) and saw the Jedi Master learn he's not the only one to have been forced to lay low, as Imperial Officer Tala introduced him to the underground system of safehouses known as The Path.

Fans were given an insight into the fate of one other Jedi as Obi-Wan examined the walls of the bunker and made reference to Quinlan Vos, saying: "Quinlan was here," but more determined fans dug deeper into the episode to see what else the bunker could teach them.

With the help of an Aurebesh alphabet, fans managed to decode three names from the writing on the wall; namely Valin Halcyon, Roganda Ismaren and Djinn Atlis.

Expressing their excitement over the inclusion of the Star Wars Legends characters, one fan wrote: "Wait wait #ObiWanKenobi just canonized Hal & Corran Horn AND Roganda Ismaren what is happening."

Halcyon changed his name to Hal Horn in a bid to try and hide his identity following the Great Jedi Purge, but is best known as the father of Jedi Knight Corran Horn, Inverse reports.

The second name deciphered by fans is Roganda Ismaren; a more obscure character who is Alderaanian, like Leia, and who switched sides from being a Jedi padawan after the Purge.

Finally, fans managed to glean from the bunker the name Djinn Altis: a character who ran a denomination of Jedi rejecting the rules of its Council.

The three names indicate the characters managed to survive Order 66, the top-secret order that branded Jedi as traitors to the Galactic Republic and made them vulnerable to execution by the Grand Army of the Republic.

Following the release of the third instalment of Obi-Wan on Friday, one Twitter user drew attention to the names on the walls and suggested the series may act 'as a gateway into a show about Vader/Inquisitors hunting down other Jedi on "The Path"', adding: "(There were a lot of names on that wall). Young Leia could also continue to be involved even if Obi-Wan isn't."
