Although the headline might sound a little depressing to Friends' fans, it's not what you think.
As many of us will be aware, Paul Rudd famously landed the role as Phoebe Buffay's (Lisa Kudrow) love interest, Mike Hannigan, making his debut in season 9 episode 'The One With The Pediatrician'.
Appearing in 17 episodes of Friends, he became a lovable character who eventually went on to marry Phoebe, which was great.

However, after Rudd's recent appearance on Heart Breakfast on Friday (17 February), the actor says he didn't think he deserved his brief cameo in the final episode of Friends – titled 'The Last One'.
The man who never seems to age, explained: "The whole thing was a bit surreal, I must say, to be a part of that.
"Because I came on really near the end... I never knew that I was going to be in as many as I was.
"But it also felt strange. I mean, I was in that last episode and I just thought, ‘I shouldn’t be here. I’m getting a front row seat to things I’m not supposed to see’."
Rudd continued: "They were all crying, it was all emotional, and I was just like, ‘Woah’.

"I felt very privileged but I was like, ‘Oh I just want to sit back here and not get in the way’.”
Funnily enough, the Mike Hannigan actor did the most Mike Hannigan thing ever to Jennifer Aniston while filming the last episode.
In a 2019 episode of The Graham Norton Show, Rudd said he tried to make a joke to Aniston, who was understandably very emotional on set.
"I was in the last episode, which made no sense to me whatsoever," he said.

"So to break the ice I went over and just went, ‘We did it, huh? What a ride’.
"The joke inevitably fell flat."
Oh, Mike.
In a recent interview with Men's Health, Rudd was asked to reveal the truth behind his ageless appearance.

He said: “Sleep. Then diet. Then weights. Then cardio.
“People ask me, ‘Can you send me your meal plan? How many times a week do you work out? Do you drink? Do you eat carbs? Do you have a cheat day?’
“The most important part of training is sleep.”
The Ant-Man star continued: “People will set their alarm and then sleep for four hours and they’ll get up so that they can train.

“They’re doing themselves a disservice.
“If you can somehow get eight hours of sleep…”
