Another year, another X Factor winner who will probably be on the Butlin’s bill alongside Chico, Wagner and Honey G in a few years.
This year’s winner has been announced and it’s 29-year-old Saara Aalto who’ll get the chance at pop stardom.
The Finnish singer upset the odds and beat bookies’ favourite Matty Terry to a record deal with Simon Cowell’s Syco in tonight’s final.

Aalto had previously claimed that she would prefer to finish runner up in the final due to the fact that the list of winners who have been dropped by the label is getting longer and longer by the year.
Matt Cardle, Shayne Ward, Sam Bailey, Ben Haenow and Joe McElderry were all dropped by Syco after their album flopped. Because let’s be honest, most of them were shite.
Congratulations, I suppose. Let’s hope we don’t see her on the Butlin’s lineup any time soon.
