In the name of Lay's, Paul Rudd and Seth Rogen have joined forces once more for a new Super Bowl advert.
The comedic duo, famed for their appearances together in the likes of The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up and This Is The End (Rudd is in it for about 20 seconds but that's all that really matters), they haven't actually starred in a movie side-by-side since 2016's Sausage Party.
Alongside Jonah Hill and Jason Segel, they once described themselves as 'summa cum laude graduates of the Judd Apatow school of comedy'. Ahead of Super Bowl LVI on February 13, with the Cincinnati Bengals facing off against the Los Angeles Rams, the pair have reunited to tease their new ad.
The Lay's YouTube channel shared two separate teasers prior to the full commercial in a couple of weeks: the first shows a mysterious bearded man singing, 'Oh Seth Rogen, oh Seth Rogen, where are you?'; and another with Rogen and Rudd together in a car, clearly on the set of their ad.

Holding a bag of Lay's, Rogen asks, 'What are we doing?' Rudd replies, 'A teaser.' Rogen continues, 'We're doing a teaser for the commercial... we're teasing commercials now, that's a thing?'
Rudd explains it's a bit like a movie trailer teaser. 'Yeah, but a commercial is incredibly short in the first place, how long is the teaser?' Rogen asks, to which Rudd says, 'Oh, it's really sh-' before the teaser cuts off.
The teaser has already racked up nearly three million views on YouTube, plus nearly 400,000 views on Twitter. 'Lays doing a commercial with Ant-Man and some guy who sales pottery for weed storage... interesting,' one user joked.
'This is brilliant,' another wrote. 'Can't wait to see all the new commercials Lay's has lined up for us during the Super Bowl LVI,' a third, presumed fan of Lay's wrote.

'Sneaky. You know we really like these two,' a fourth user replied. 'Haven't watched a Super Bowl with commercials since the mid 80s. That won't change this year,' one grumpy viewer tweeted.
'Paul Rudd has replaced James Franco,' another wrote, referencing Rogen saying he has no plans to work with Franco amid sexual misconduct allegations.
'We aren’t working together right now and we don’t have any plans to work together. Of course, it was hurtful in context, but I get it, you know, he had to answer for me because I was silent. He had to answer for me and I don’t want that,' Franco recently said.
