Seth Rogen's Sausage Party will soon be returning as a TV show following the popular debut film that was released in 2016.
Sausage Party was a fun, cheeky, and quite frankly offensive animated adventure from Columbia Pictures and Great Beyond, that was loved by fans and critics alike.
On Rotten Tomatoes, the film sits at an impressive 82 percent from 239 reviews.
While many would have hoped for a film sequel, we are getting the next best thing - Suasage Party: Foodtopia.

The new 'eight-course television event' will be dished out on Prime Video in 2024 and will be based on the 2016 film.
Many of the cast members from the film will be returning for the Prime series, including Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Michael Cera, David Krumholtz, and Edward Norton.
There will be a few new faces joining the party, too - with actors Will Forte, Sam Richardson, Natasha Rothwell, and Yassir Lester all confirmed to star.
Producers have confirmed that production is underway for the series, but they are keeping plot details very close to their chest.
Speaking on Sausage Party's return, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg said in a joint statement: "Film used to be the superior art form to television, and we humbly reached the pinnacle of what can be achieved with film in our remarkable opus, Sausage Party.

"But now that film is completely dead and TV is the forever-king of entertainment, we've decided to continue the epic adventures of our culinary crew in the soon-to-be-legendary televised masterpiece Sausage Party: Foodtopia.
"It’s got all the heart, double the puns, and triple the food-on-food sex. In other words, it’s exactly what the world needs right now."
Co-writers on the 2016 film, Ari Shaffir and Kyle Hunter, are also returning for the TV series and will act as executive producers alongside Rogen and Goldberg.
