The team behind She-Hulk: Attorney At Law has explained that final 'f*** you' gag delivered to toxic Marvel fans in the series finale.
The latest MCU series, following Jennifer Walters and her complicated life as a single 30-something She-Hulk, delighted viewers with its insane final episode that completely broke down the fourth wall.

It was a bold move to throw out the rule book, but when Jennifer didn't like how her storyline was going, she had to take things into her own hands and have a talk with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.
Not only does she smash out of her own TV show, but Jennifer climbs through the Disney+ portal to confront the show's writers about their ridiculous plot lines - including one about toxic Marvel fans who trolls her online just for being a female superhero.
The irony, of course, is that She-Hulk: Attorney At Law did spark a heap of trolling from some misogynistic Marvel fans.

Tatiana Maslany, who plays Jennifer in the series, has been the target of online hate since the show launched - a situation all too similar to what Brie Larson faced when she played Captain Marvel back in 2019.
Writers obviously saw this coming from a mile away, and got the upper hand by including Intelligencia - an organisation of losers that has a vendetta against Jennifer/She-Hulk just because they're 'sick of hearing about her'.
Discussing the iconic moment, series star Tatiana put it all down to head-writer Jessica Gao, who could tell in advance what the response to a series like She-Hulk would be.
Speaking to Variety, she said: "As a cast, it was delightful sending each other these troll responses, like 'Oh my god, give them a week and then they’re going to literally see this pop up verbatim in the show and become the villains of the show'. It was thrilling."
She continued: "Reading the script, it was so true. There’s so much resistance to a woman just existing in that space of superheroes.

"There’s always going to be that. I sort of anticipated it. It’s why I also feel it’s important. There’s such an entitlement to space held by certain people, and to even exist as She-Hulk is like a f**k-you, and I love that."
Jessica herself added that it was pretty hilarious that they were able to predict the online reaction in the writers room three years ago.
"The fact that we were able to predict what the reaction was going to be, what a lot of the trolling comments were going to be, really shows how very tired and unoriginal these trolls are. That really tickled me because the little troll that lives inside of me really loves trolling the trolls."
