Doctors were so concerned for Simon Cowell’s health after he collapsed at home that they performed a scan to check his brain for blood clots, tumours, internal injuries or signs of aneurysm.

Cowell fell down his stairs in the middle of the night after waking feeling dizzy.

It’s rumoured that he’ll skip presenting tonight’s X Factor to recover from his fall.

The Mirror is reporting that Simon was going downstairs to warm some milk after waking in the night feeling unwell.

Strong midnight snack choice from Cowell there.

Doctors have performed a CT scan and an MRI to fully check Cowell over and check for injuries after his fall and concerning dizzy spell.

There have been some mean comments online, which is hardly surprising as even his co-hosts can’t stand him sometimes:

He has been discharged from hospital but has to wear a blood pressure monitor in case there is a problem with his heart.

Simon Cowell is only 58-years-old, which is young enough, but he is a heavy-smoker which can lead to all sorts of health complications.

He’s told press outside his house that he is suffering from concussion after his fall – which is no picnic depending on the severity.

Simon said that he ‘didn’t know’ about returning for tonight’s live show, but said he would be back on The X Factor ‘soon’.

Regardless of what you think about Simon Cowell, and he’s certainly a controversial character, you’ve got to hope that he’s not suffering from anything too serious and he makes a full recovery soon.
