Reservation Dogs, an FX show co-created by Taika Waititi and released late last year has a near-perfect Rotten Tomatoes score.
Waititi also co-writes and co-executive produces the critically-acclaimed series, which has a seriously impressive rating of 98% on the reviews aggregator site.
The show follows four Native American teens chasing the Californian dream in a bid to escape the poverty and addiction of their hometown. Watch the trailer below:
Main characters Bear (D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai), Elora Danan (Devery Jacobs), Cheese (Lane Factor) and Willie (Paulina Alexis) are petty criminals living in a rural community and struggling to come to terms with the death of their friend Daniel.

Reservation Dogs is co-created by showrunner Sterlin Harjo, who is a member of the Muscogee and Seminole Nations.
The show airs on Hulu in the US and has been renewed for a second season, which is expected to hit screens via Disney+ here in the UK later this summer.
Speaking about Reservation Dogs’ renewal, Nick Grad, the network’s president of original programming, said: “We couldn't wait to share Reservation Dogs with viewers and are thrilled that they seem to love it as much as we do,” according to Digital Spy.
He added: “We're happy to put in an early order for another season. Sterlin Harjo delivered on his creative vision, partnering with Taika Waititi and the rest of the creative team, the brilliant cast and crew to create one of TV's best new comedies and a groundbreaking showcase of representation and raw talent."
When promoting the show last year, Waititi explained why his and Harjo’s partnership worked so well.

He told Deadline at the time: “All of the stories we shared from when we were growing up, they seemed exactly the same. We had similar uncles in our communities, aunties and family members and we both grew up with pop culture mixed with our own culture.”
He also explained why he felt it was important to inject a dose of comedy into their portrayal of Indigenous communities.
“We don’t want to depress people. There’s so much humour in our communities, so many jokes,” Waititi shared, referencing his aboriginal heritage.
“All they want to do is see us riding whales, talking to the trees, playing flutes on mountaintops and talking to ghosts and learning something from our grandmother. To subvert expectations is such a powerful thing.”
