That Tom Felton is a man of many talents, and he’s once again been cheering up people on his Instagram with one of his musical performances.

The Harry Potter actor has moved between piano and guitar in previous videos, but for his latest clip he opted for a ukulele for his rendition of The Beatles’ classic Something.

Written by George Harrison for the Fab Four’s 1969 album Abbey Road, it’s one of Harrison’s strongest contributions to the group’s canon and has received renewed attention thanks to its creative process being documented along other songs for the recently released eight-hour documentary Get Back.

As the clip shows, Felton gave a fitting tribute to the love song, with a solo performance that moved from the ukulele to the guitar as he strummed his way through the classic. We’ve got to say too, his vocals aren’t half bad – and we’ve certainly heard worse renditions in the middle of a busy city centre shopping street.

He started off by singing that ‘there’s a cut on my index finger but I’ll still play’ before moving seamlessly into the Beatles classic. At the end, he thanked fans for watching and for their donations, as Felton is a fundraiser for the British Red Cross and had tagged them in the video.

It was, quite frankly, a lovely performance and one that went down hugely well with his fans on Instagram.

Meanwhile, others were getting their requests in for next time, with one saying, ‘Pls could you sing If You Could Be Anywhere the next time? I would die for it,’ referencing Felton’s own track that he released back in 2009.

Felton and all the Potter crew have recently been part of a reunion celebrating 20 years since the first movie, and in it Emma Watson – who of course played Hermione Granger – admitted that she fell in love with the Draco Malfoy-playing actor on set.

Watson recalled how as a 10-year-old she first developed a crush on her co-star during a tutoring session on set, remembering, ‘The assignment that had been given was to draw what you thought God looked like, and Tom had drawn a girl with a backward cap on a skateboard. And I just don’t how to say it – I just fell in love with him.’
