It seems like Hollywood is into making an awful lot of bad decisions recently.
We’ve had The Emoji Movie, Nicolas Cage still has a career, and now Bad Boys III is pretty much cancelled.
The third in Michael Bay’s magnum opus trilogy (if it’s possible for Michael Bay to have a magnum opus) has lost its release date in a bunch of Sony reshuffles.

It was originally scheduled to hit the big screens on November 9 2018, but it has been ‘unset’.
This means that it has lost it’s position in the schedule indefinitely, and is no longer slated for any release date.
Despite this awful news, we still have a glimmer of hope.
Deadline reports that the script is being worked on and tweaked.
It is also apparent that Will Smith himself is still interesting in making the flick, so all is not lost.
Moving slyly into Bad Boy III’s date is Holmes and Watson, the new comedy from the legends Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly.
To be honest I’m equally stoked for that, sounds absolutely perfect.
Holmes and Watson will go up against Universal’s How The Grinch Stole Christmas.
Let’s talk about how they’re re-making The fucking Grinch! Absolutely ridiculous.
It’s a stone cold classic of Christmas cinema.
Get your shit together Universal.
Also get your shit together Sony and get Bad Boys III back on the slate.
