A guy who bought all the fried chicken at a takeaway because a woman called him fat has proved revenge can also be served hot.
There’s nothing quite as upsetting than being denied the food you’ve been looking forward to, but I have to say I think this woman deserved it.
Frederico Hill was waiting in line to buy his meal in a restaurant a few days ago when he was joined by a woman and her children looking to get some fried chicken of their own.
Parents often have to reign their kids in when it comes to getting their hands on tasty food, and this mother was no different. However, rather than simply expressing her authority and ordering appropriate portion sizes, the woman used Frederico as a cautionary tale to warn her youngsters off eating too much.
Offended Frederico took to Facebook to share his story where he explained the woman had ‘muttered’ her insults to her children, but he still overheard what she said and felt the rude woman needed to be taught a lesson.
Frederico shared a picture of a large box full of fried chicken, and wrote:
i just bought this chicken out of spite because a mother behind me muttering to her whining children that “he can only eat 1 pc, no more than that or you’ll end up fat like uncle (me) in front”.
i asked the clerk if all the chicken on display is all they had left, they said yes and the other batch is still cooking.
i said to the clerk [I wanted] to buy all of it, paid, and walk away slowly
when the mother come up to the register the clerk explained that they’re out of chicken and she needs to wait for 30 minutes. her kid keeps whining she was angry and upset. she then looked at me frowning I just flipped her the bird and turned to went home.
In any other circumstance it would probably seem immature for someone to take all the food just so another person couldn’t have it – it’s very reminiscent of the kind of sibling rivalry me and my brother used to have – but I’m actually with Frederico on this one.
The woman should know fat shaming is unacceptable and unnecessary, and certainly shouldn’t be teaching her children to talk about people that way. There had to be a consequence for her actions and Frederico simply made sure there was one.
Plus, by buying all the chicken he was actually helping the mother to keep her children healthy, so he was really doing her a favour.
Frederico admitted his purchase set him back 240k Indonesian rupiah (£13), but he said the look on the face of the annoyed customer was ‘priceless’.
Hopefully the offensive woman has learnt her lesson!
