I hate to be the guy to break your hearts, but it looks like we’ve just had another official word that Elder Scrolls VI definitely isn’t in development. Not even a little bit.
The news comes from a Twitter exchange between Bethesda’s Vice President of PR and marketing at Bethesda – Pete Hines – and some random guy who seems to think he knows more about what goes on at the company than the Vice President of PR and marketing.
Take a look below.
thx. fyi, the elder scrolls vi isn't in development. we simply said we would make it eventually. don't want people to be misled

There we go. Seems pretty clear from Mr Hines (aka Dr Agon Born – get it?) that Elder Scrolls VI isn’t in development – they’ve other irons in the fire at the moment.
This doesn’t stop one fellow Twitter user from calling out Mr Hines. Clearly, he’s using PR wizardry to fool us all – Let’s cut through the bullshit, yeah?
It’s not to be though – Hines maintains that Bethesda are not working on Elder Scrolls VI.
no, it just means nobody is working on it.

Amazingly, our hero isn’t dissuaded in his quest to get to what he is so sure is ‘the truth’.
He informs Hines – a man who has worked at Bethesda for some time – that the game is certainly in development, because that’s how Bethesda works.
no. It isn't in development.

After being told three times, I think maybe we should all take this as an opportunity to except the truth: We’ve got a long wait for Elder Scrolls VI, so we better get settled in now.
