EA and DICE have revealed details of all four Battlefield 1 paid expansions, which are available to purchase separately, or as part of the Premium Pass.
We already know about the They Shall Not Pass expansion, which is due to arrive this month and adds the French Army, as well as content pertaining to the French Army – but what of the other three?
The second expansion is called Name of the Tsar which, as the name implies, will give us control of the Russian army, letting players ride ‘with the legendary Hussars’ and take part in the Brusilov offensive and Albion assault.
The third expansion has more of a naval theme and is called Turning Tides – in it, we’ll get a new destroyer and coastal class airship, will be able to take part in the Zeebrugge raid, and storm the beaches of Gallipoli.
The fourth and final expansion is ominously titled The Apocalypse, and DICE will only tease that it includes ‘the most infamous battles of WW1’ and ‘brutal tools and unique weapons born out of desperation and deadlock’. Sounds cheery.
There’s no release dates as of yet, but expect each expansion to be trickled out throughout 2017. Those who fork out for the Premium Pass will get access to each one two weeks early.
