Another month, another batch of free games hot and fresh out of Sony’s metaphorical kitchen for PlayStation Plus subscribers to enjoy.
As always, there are six games across PS4, PS3, and Vita to be had, with the PS4 getting four of the six games thanks to cross buy.
There’s a slight difference this month as North American users will get sea-exploration adventure Abzu for PS4, while those in Europe get the RPG/shooter Alienation. Both will also get Telltale’s episodic Tales From The Borderlands.
Both of this month’s Vita games are available on PS4 too through cross buy, so those with a handheld and/or PS4 can nab colourful shoot em up Laser Disco Defenders and Type:Rider, which is a game about fonts (though it’s better than it sounds).
Those with a PlayStation 3 meanwhile, can look forward to hack ‘n slash Blood Knights, and economic sim Port Royale 3: Pirates and Merchants – somehow the game about fonts sounds more appealing.
This new batch of games will be available for PlayStation Plus subscribers on Tuesday, May 2 – you have until then to download last month’s offerings, which include Drawn to Death and Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime.
