Fans of Ubisoft’s excellent tactical shooter rejoice, as the company confirmed that Rainbow Six Siege will continue to receive support and content throughout 2017.
The official Rainbow Six Twitter account confirmed the news, revealing that players can look forward to another full year of content.

The popular online shooter has already received four robust expansions, in the form of Operation Black Ice, Operation Skull Rain, Operation Dust Line, and Operation Red Crow, which was released earlier in the month.
While it’s not yet clear what kind of content we can expect to see in Rainbow Six Siege going forward, Ubisoft’s vice president of live operations Anne Blondel revealed in a recent interview with PCGamesN that we’ll be learning more very soon.
We’ll be announcing much more about year two in the weeks to come, but I would hate to spoil what they have in store for the game.
She went on to promise that we can ‘absolutely’ expect to learn more about year two of Rainbow Six Siege before the end of 2016.
Ubisoft confirmed earlier in November that the game currently has more than 10 million registered players – so it only makes sense to keep the good times coming, really.
