In recent times, SEGA have been quizzing their users on their favourite SEGA games. Now they’ve gave a reason why.
Turns out they’ve been preparing the nostalgic orgasm which is the re-release of over 40 classic video games from way back in the good ol’ 80’s and 90’s.
The update, aptly named the SEGA Mega Drive Classics Hub, promises spot-on emulation, local co-op for games which support it, optional graphic enhancement filters, the ability to save at any point in the gameplay, as well as full controller / keyboard support.
According to SEGA’s website, these are all the titles they’re planning to re-release later this week:
Ecco the Dolphin
Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master
Space Harrier II
Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle
Super Thunder Blade
Galaxy Force II
Sword of Vermilion
Virtua Fighter 2
Ecco: The Tides of Time
ESWAT: City Under Siege
Golden Axe II
Landstalker: The Treasures of King Nole
Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair
Streets of Rage 2
Streets of Rage
Shining Force II
Shining in the Darkness
Golden Axe III
Phantasy Star II
Phantasy Star III: Generations of Doom
Phantasy Star IV: The End of the Millennium
Streets of Rage 3
Revenge of the Shinob
Wonder Boy in Monster World
The SEGA Mega Drive Classics Hub is all set to be launched this Thursday (April 28) on Steam, and (as if things weren’t already good enough) the update will be entirely free.
Personally, we can’t wait for the update – but if playing the game just isn’t enough for you, check out this Chun-Li lookalike who’s getting the weirdest requests from guys around the globe.
