Oh PlayStation Store, how you’ve changed. It appears that Sony are planning a complete overhaul of the PS Store service – but they jumped the gun a bit by releasing it into the wild early.
One plucky Twitter user (Note Wise) managed to grab screenshots before the blunder could be corrected, because that’s what happens every single time something like this happens, without fail. Have a gander at your new look store below.
As you can see, it’s a very different PlayStation Store to the one we all know and love (or just tolerate) – but change is exciting. New is always better, right?
GameZone report that game pages now play trailers in the background, and each game also boasts multiple pages, presumably to provide more details than before.
Of course, it’s worth noting that what we see today might be a work in progress, and we don’t know when this upgrade to the store will land. Still, we do know that the PS4 is getting a 3.50 firmware update soon, so it’d make sense for the new look PlayStation Store to launch alongside that.
