Bungie is giving the world its first look at the gameplay for Destiny 2, and you can watch it live right here.
The sequel to the 2014 sci-fi RPG shooter is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and is also making its grand debut on PC.
So far, we know the story revolves around the Guardians fighting back against the Cabal, who have destroyed The Tower (the first game’s hub level). Shooting and looting will most likely ensue.
You can check out the story trailer that dropped back in March below – featuring the charming tones of Mr Nathan Fillion.
By all accounts it seems that Destiny 2 will have more of a focus on humour. We also know that loot won’t carry over from the first game, but that your characters can be carried over to the new game, if they’re over level 20 and have completed the Black Garden mission.
Obviously we can also expect new enemies, and I’d be surprised if there weren’t new modes and gameplay elements to get stuck into, since we’ve been promised ‘major advancements and improvements.’
Hopefully all will be revealed during the livestream, which starts at 6pm BST and can be watched just below – enjoy.

Destiny 2 hits PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 8, 2017 – really not that long to wait, then.
