Here’s How You Make Ice Cream Sandwiches

Ingredients:

For the ice cream:

– 100g corn flakes (crushed)
– 1 tbsp light brown sugar
– 1 egg
– 30ml milk
– 3 scoops of ice cream

For the sandwiches:

– 150g plain flour
– 1 tsp baking powder
– 1 tbsp light brown sugar
– 1 egg yolk
– 150ml boiling water

For the topping:

– 1 tbsp caster sugar
– 1 tbsp light brown sugar
– 1 tbsp golden syrup

Method:

First, roll your ice cream balls in the whisked egg and milk.

Then coat in the corn flakes and freeze for three hours.

For the sandwiches, put the flour, baking powder, sugar and egg yolk in a bowl.

Then add boiling water and mix together. Rest for 15-20 minutes.

Shape into four patties and shallow fry on each side until golden brown.

Then fry the ice cream for 30 seconds or until it’s golden brown.

Coat the sandwiches in the mix of sugars.
