It’s fair to say the adult entertainment industry tries its hardest to cater for everyone’s needs, wants and desires. Heck, it even caters for things you’ve probably never even thought you’re into!

To be fair, I reckon there’s some thing they’re still yet to explore and there’s a small percentage who are probably still longing to get their fix!

However, there’s one adult film actor who seems to fall into a very niche category – are you able to guess from the pictures so far?

Well say hello, or rather, Kon’nichiwa, to Kohey Nishi – a Japanese adult film star who, because of an incurable disease, stands at just over three and a half feet tall – which in centimetres, equates to 109cm.

The 25-year-old, also referred to as Nishikun, is said to weigh around 24 kgs, which to me and you, is about 52lbs – just under four stone.

While he looks a lot like a very small child, he says his videos obviously appeal to a lot of people out there on the world wide web, because they’re getting clicks.

【お願いがあります】お願いがあります。実は、今月限定でノリで新宿二丁目店長することになりました。(ぼくはノンケです)6月11日(月)から全て必ずいるわけじゃないですが10日以上います。今月収入がないので仕事になるならとすること…

Speaking about his journey into the world of adult entertainment, he told VICE:

I became drinking buddies with Kei Morikawa, a Japanese mainstream film and porn director. He introduced me to Ganari Takahashi, an entrepreneur of the Japanese porn industry.

Mr Takahashi let me produce my first porn video after I gave a presentation to him. He evaluated it, saying “It is very unique. Nobody has made this kind of videos except you.”

Then I became the first exclusive director for Soft On Demand, one of the largest porn conglomerates in Japan, which was founded by Mr Takahashi.

However, some feel his videos are concerning given the fact he resembles a child so much within an adult industry. Yet he states:

I was once told that “Your videos seem dangerous as you look a real kid on screen.”

But I have considered that my works prevent children from being sexually abused, just like war movies and shooter video games can contribute to peace.

Asked whether he intentionally markets himself as a child, Nishi revealed:

Yes. There is no one who is an adult and looks like a kid more than me! And not just for the porn industry.

You cannot cast actual kids sometimes [in non-pornographic content], so I’d like to fill the gap in that market.

Nishi’s size has always been a subject for discussion, but it’s down to a health condition which he says he will never recover from.

He explained:

I was diagnosed with mucopolysaccharidosis, a progressive incurable disease. I had a marrow-bone transplant and it stopped the development of the disease. It was like a miracle because today it is said that the remedy has no effect.

Having said that, once you get the symptoms, you don’t recover. Moreover, I’ve got some after effects from rhabdomyosarcoma and a brain tumor I was diagnosed with when I was three-years-old, so I have some physical difficulties. I don’t get taller.

I cannot stand on my own feet for more than five minutes. I cannot open a plastic bottle. I hardly hear in my left ear, and so on. Yet I have become used to my condition because I have lived in it since I was little. Though sometimes I need somebody’s help, I can also handle these difficulties with my knowledge. For example, I can open a plastic bottle with a pair of nippers.

My only anxiety is about my neck. It’s too weak so I may be paralysed from neck down if I damage my spinal cord. But I believe I could get over that difficulty. I try not to worry too much because it can’t be helped. I will consider what to do when I am paralysed.

Concluding, Nishi revealed some words of encouragement for men out there who may be concerned with their height:

There are a lot of factors that harm your charm, and actually your height doesn’t affect it much.

You just attribute your unpopularity to your height and ignore other factors. If you face the reality, increasing your strengths and improving your weaknesses, you will become popular among ladies.

What a positive young man! All the best for the future Nishi!
