Courtney Stodden has had a very public and emotional breakdown on social media following her separation from ex-husband, Doug Hutchinson, which has caused fans to become exceedingly concerned for her well-being.
The 23-year-old celebrity became famous back in 2011 when she married the then 50-year-old actor when she was only 16-years-old.
The first cause for concern came at the end of November when the model posted a photo of herself, clearly quite distressed, with the caption ‘Devastated’.
In an impassioned post on Instagram Courtney wrote:
I need this man back in my life. I need him to come help me.
I need him to want our marriage to work. He’s been my only solid rock.
Doug, if you read this — this is a public cry for your undying love. I need you.
She then posted a video on Instagram, during which she said:
Obviously I’ve been crying again – again – and I just want to be honest with you guys about some things.
Me and my husband have been going through a really rough time, separation and ultimately divorce in a week. And I like, at the last minute, realised that I don’t want it and i want to try and make things work.
Ever since we’ve separated and he’s moved away I’ve been depressed and he’s, I don’t’ deserve him and I need him back in my life.
Help me and be with me and I love him.
Here is a video of her singing the lyrics ‘I wanna die’ over and over again…
Hundreds of fans have sent her messages of support on her Instagram and Twitter.
People are very worried about her:
Be strong and God be with you hope you get better soon🙏🏻

This breaks my heart. Sometimes things have to fall apart for them to come back stronger.
Whether that’s you and Doug or just you coming back stronger please hang on. You’re almost there.
In 2013, Courtney appeared on Celebrity Big Brother and following the stint on the show she said:
I’d just recently finished a stint on Celebrity Big Brother in the UK and I think I turned 19 on the show and I was in the house for about a month and it was the first time I was away from Doug.
After I got off the show, I was like ”You know what, I need to sow my wild oats. I need to go out. I need to date. I need to screw,’ so that was basically the primary reason for that separation and we were separated for about a year maybe?
In May 2016 the pair announced they were expecting their first child, but three months into the pregnancy, Courtney tragically suffered a miscarriage.
Courtney has also been uploading lots of photos with glasses of wine, raising concerns her depression is causing her to turn to alcohol.
Courtney said, through tears in another video:
I also feel like I try really hard to fight for things in life, believe in people and I think I do it too much and maybe that’s my fault?
I’m not going to delete this stuff, because this is real. I think people should see the real side of shit on social media.
This is truth. Feelings. Not fake pictures and delusional happiness on social pic.twitter.com/NcbuxGlUez
