George Bush Awkwardly Tries To Take Selfie, Obama Steps In

U.S. Presidents are in a position of such power that they make decisions that affect millions of people on a daily basis, but it seems some of them can’t even use a phone.

That’s kinda worrying, right? Of course, but when you soon realise the former president in question is in fact George W. Bush than you kind of expect it.

Bush needed a little help from outgoing president Barack Obama yesterday morning at the opening of the Smithsonian Institute’s National Museum of African American Culture and History.

The whole exchange was all kinds of awkward, as Bush tapped Obama on the back looking like he was a lost child in a supermarket after being unable to tackle the logistics of taking a perfect selfie.

To be fair to Georgey, he is 70 now so technology was never going to be his strong point. But after fumbling around with the phone a bit, Obama happily obliged.

You can watch the moment in all its glory here:

How did this guy run a country effectively for eight years? Oh wait.
