Girl’s Chest Tattoo Leaves Horrific Scar After It ‘Peels Off’
Warning: Graphic images
A student has been left with terrible scars after a tattoo removal went wrong, causing the entire thing to peel of her chest.
Pasuda Reaw decided to get rid of a tattoo on her chest and collarbone, but thought laser removal was too expensive, according to reports, so decided to opt for this method.
She decided to get rid of the tat because she wanted to look more professional at work, and opted for the chemical method of removal, but within days, realised something wasn’t right.
The technique is a method of removal which uses a tattoo gun to introduce a chemical to the ink, which causes it to rise to the surface and create a scab, which can then be peeled off.
However, instead of leaving clean skin behind, in the tattoo’s wake was a patch of scarring and raised skin, which was incredibly painful, according to Reaw.
The 21-year-old told MailOnline:
At first it seemed like a good way to remove the tattoo. I didn’t want to use lasers. I began the treatment and immediately it was itchy and hurting a lot. The skin has taken a long time to come off. It was like torture and I couldn’t sleep.
What’s left is worse than before. I do not recommend this treatment because it hurts so bad and takes a long time.
Laser is a lot of money but I wish I had done that. At times the pain of the itching and the scar were unbearable.
I shared pictures as a warning to others to be so careful about what they do.
She shared the process on a day-by-day basis on her social media accounts, and on day one it seemed to be good, just peeling as intended.
But after a few days it became infected and a lot of pus was coming out of the wound. Once the infection cleared up, the tattoo eventually peeled off – but that wasn’t the end of her painful ordeal.
Her skin became very delicate, and bled even from the slightest bit of contact. Instead of the scar turning back to her skin colour, it looked similar to a burn.
Pasuda has been vocal about what happened to her because she doesn’t want people to make the same mistakes she did, and it’s hard to feel like you want a tat after seeing those pics.
However, that doesn’t mean a well-thought-out tattoo can’t be a great thing – just ask the cast of the Avengers.
To celebrate the release of Avengers: Infinity War – which is the cinematic event of the decade and a culmination of 18 films over 10 years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) – five of the original big screen Avengers got matching tattoos, which is both brilliant and adorable.
The only original member who didn’t get the tattoo was Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner a.k.a. The Hulk) as body ink just isn’t his thing, apparently.
Wanting to get their tats done by the same inker, New York based artist Josh Lord even flew across America, to Los Angeles, to complete the job.
Let’s just hope they don’t all change their minds and opt for the same removal as Pasuda.
