Guy Blags His Way To Ringside Seat At McGregor Vs Mayweather

It was the biggest fight of the year, and it came with a level of hype that most sporting events never can’t even dream of.

Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather’s bout this weekend was set to be an amazing experience for most sports fans, including UFC fanatic Oliver Regis.

So when he bought a £2,000 ticket he was expecting an amazing view that would give him the night of his life.

His anticipation quickly turned to disappointment when he found his seat was right at the top of the T-Mobile Arena where the fight took place.

Barman Oliver decided to take things into his own hands and blagged his way past security to a ringside seat.

To do so, he pretended to be with Floyd Mayweather’s security team and made his way to a third row seat.

Speaking to The Sun, Oliver revealed he did feel slightly ‘cheeky’ but that it was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

He said:

There were quite a few empty seats.

I sat down in the third row and Mike Tyson then sat down behind me. LeBron James was on my row and I could see Leonardo DiCaprio.

He wasn’t quite happy with just getting the best seats in the house, however, and began to ask all the celebs in the area for selfies.

He asked everyone from Jamie Foxx to Demi Lovato, even asking Mike Tyson for a quick snap.

After that he relegated himself back to a measly tenth row seat to enjoy the fight.

He told The Sun:

It was quite nerve-racking asking Tyson for a picture. He didn’t say anything – just nodded his head.

My friends started texting me saying they had seen me on TV. It was very surreal, but it was the biggest fight in history!

I’m sure everyone will be talking about it when I go back. And I have the pictures to prove it!

Oliver is on his way back home to England today, after seeing out the weekend in Las Vegas with his mate.

What a ballsy move, and it absolutely paid off, to be fair you’d want your money’s worth for £2,000 anyway.
