Judging by some of these, it looks like the feeling of rage that gets transmitted down the phone when you speak to an IT guy could actually be pretty justified.
Thwack community members at IT company SolarWinds have shared some of the most ridiculous and unbelievable queries they’ve ever had to deal with from their colleagues on thwack and, honestly, they really do have our sympathies.
As someone who has definitely made their fair share of technological gaffes, I can safely say that if it was me on the other end of some of these questions it would take every fibre of my being to hold back the stream of abuse I would so desperately want to unleash.
Obviously IT issues can be pretty infuriating – especially when they stop you from doing your job properly – but come on guys, just come on.
