A Croatian plastic surgery addict has developed a permanent hard on as a result of a nose job operation.
45-year-old Neven Ciganovic was in Iran filming for a documentary when his condition began.
The unusual symptom apparently came from a reaction to the anaesthetic used during his surgery.
According to Ciganovic, he was diagnosed with the condition, called priapism, during the nose job surgery.
The reality TV star was apparently refused painkillers despite the incredibly painful nature of the affliction.
During his stay in hospital, Ciganovic said:
I’ve resided in Belgrade hospital since Friday. Unfortunately, I did not receive analgesics because they do not give them to patients here, so I continue to suffer.
I have to be at the hospital for a further five days.
He had to have surgery to get rid of the permanent erection, but will apparently not be back to normal for some time.
Ciganovic is addicted to plastic surgery and has had over a dozen operations, including three previous surgeries on his nose.
He was hoping this procedure would be the one to launch him into international stardom, by ‘fixing’ his septum.
I’m looking forward to a movie about myself. The film crew dedicated a whole episode about me. I think this is a big deal and I hope this is the start of my international career.
It’s currently not understood what causes the reaction to anaesthetic, which results in this permanent painful hard on.
Neven is now considering further surgery on his face, called a ‘vampire facelift’, where platelets are removed from the blood and put in the skin.
Rather him than me.
