Police are searching for a man who has been described as having a ‘small penis and noticeably low hanging testicles’ after he flashed a student.
I mean, no one’s going to confess after that description, are they?
The offender struck around 1.15pm on Sunday (November 18), when he flashed a 20-year-old student in York as she walked alone on Windmill Lane onto the woodland cycle path in the direction of Hull Road.
The victim was heading home when she was confronted by the man, who was said to have a bare chest and his trousers around his ankles.
The flasher then performed a sex act in front of the woman before she managed to get away and call the police. He remained in the area for about five minutes before leaving.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman provided a more full-bodied description of the man for anyone who might recognise him:
The suspect is described as white with a very pale complexion, aged between 35 and 45 years, around 5ft 10in tall with a fat build.
He has very little chest or pubic hair, no obvious tattoos or scars, and he has what was described as a small penis with testicles that hang noticeably low.
I’m all for catching the horrible guy who did this, but the description of his genitals just seems like an odd thing to include in the appeal. It makes it sound like they’ll be identifying the man through some sort of Naked Attraction-style lineup.
Police have increased patrols in the area around Windmill Lane in York as part of their efforts to catch the man, and are urging anyone with any information to come forward.
A spokesperson added:
Enquiries are ongoing to locate the man, including a trawl of CCTV covering the area.

Hopefully the offender will be caught before he flashes his small penis and low hanging testicles to anyone else. We could always hold out hope that the unfortunate description of his genitals will prevent him from flashing them to unwilling strangers ever again.
