Dwayne Johnson – aka The Rock – got all emotional after meeting a 10-year-old boy who saved his brother’s life by copying CPR he’d seen in one of his films.

The Rock stars in 2015’s San Andreas, which depicts California’s notorious San Andreas fault and the earthquake which followed.

So when he was told how 10-year-old Jacob O’Connor had copied CPR techniques he’d seen in the movie after finding his younger brother lying face-down in their swimming pool, he invited the boy and his family on an amazing trip.

Thanks to Jacob’s bravery, his younger brother, Dylan, spent just one day in hospital and has made a complete recovery.

As a treat, Jacob – along with his family – were flown out to Vancouver to meet the actor on the set of his upcoming movie Skyscraper, where they were greeted by a special welcome party.

The Rock posted some a series of cute photos to his Instagram account, as well as a video:

In the video, Dwayne gives praise to Jacob – who was understandably ‘very shy’ when he first got to the party – and made mention of the 10-year-old’s special t-shirt.

The Rock wrote in his caption:

Jacob was super nervous and shy the whole time we hung out, so it was fun getting him to laugh and talk.

He threw me for an unexpected spin when he showed up on set wearing a shirt that he proudly made with my bull insignia on the front and on the back was the picture of me holding our two puppies, Brutus and Hobbs, after I rescued them from our pool.

Seeing that picture on this boy’s shirt, got me in the gut.

Eventually, we would lose Brutus to heaven, but it wasn’t the picture of Brutus that made me tear up, it was the fact that this 10-year-old kid had a heart big enough to put our puppies on his shirt after he saved his little 2-year-old brother’s life.

What a guy!
