According to research nine in 10 Brits are unhappy with the amount they’ve achieved in life so far.
A study of 2,000 adults found career frustrations, relationship worries and missed opportunities were among their top regrets.
Almost four fifths of the country are languishing in a career they don’t like, with 80 per cent believing they haven’t achieved everything they want to in life yet.
In addition, a fifth of Brits reckon they could be doing better in their relationship – with 20 per cent wishing they could be more spontaneous with their partners and have more sex.
Fifteen per cent of respondents also rate quitting smoking as their biggest achievement in life – more than setting up their own business or paying off a loan.
