Adele Pays Tribute To Paris During Live Performance Of Hometown Glory

Adele offered a moving tribute to the city of Paris as her Tuesday evening concert at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall was bathed in red, white and blue.

Spontaneous cheers erupted when iconic images of the Eiffel Tower and the French capital’s cityscape were projected onto the back of the stage while the singer performed Hometown Glory the debut single from her first album, 19.

The lyrics “shows that we ain’t gonna take it, shows that we ain’t gonna stand shit. Shows that we are united,” seemed to take on a whole new meaning following the attacks last Friday and the subsequent defiant response of the French people.
