Fans Are Calling Eminem's New Single His Best Song In Ages

Eminem has dropped 'The King and I', featuring CeeLo Green, as part of the Elvis soundtrack

Fans are calling Eminem's new single 'The King and I' his best song in ages.

Before we get into this, there's always going to be the old-school fans who will say his earlier records cannot be beaten.

However, you've got to respect how Shady has managed to remain one of the best-selling music artists worldwide for all these years.

Marshall Mathers has dropped 'The King and I', featuring CeeLo Green, as part of the Elvis soundtrack.

You can listen to a snippet of the new single below (it contains some strong language):

The track happens to be his first single in over a year, with his last song a remix of 'Killer' featuring Jack Harlow and Cordae.

Slim posted a link to the song on his socials and captioned it: "If you came to rock/ and you never gave a f**k #thekingandi ft. @ceelogreen OUT NOW."

As one might expect, Eminem fans have been loosing their s**t on Twitter, with one writing: "'The King and I' has to be Eminem’s best song in a while."

Another commented: "Yo @Eminem this new 'The King and I' single is f****** ridiculous. I'm speechless."

A third added: "From what I’ve heard of 'The King and I', I think it might be my favourite thing from Eminem since 'Book of Rhymes'. He sounds so good! Can’t wait until tomorrow."

While a fourth thought: "This new Eminem song ('The King and I') is really good, if he continues like this then the next album could be great."

Another simply wrote: "I was worried how’s this gonna be but nahh this is flames lesgo old man."

This comment about his age was slightly uncalled for, yet the fact he is still making competitive rap music at 49 takes some doing.

Well, the new biopic Elvis, directed by Baz Luhrmann, got an incredible 12-minute standing ovation at Cannes.

Starring Austin Butler as the iconic King of Rock and Roll, Elvis shares the story of the star's rise to fame and his complex relationship with manager Colonel Tom Parker, played by none other than Tom Hanks.

During the ovation, Butler and Luhrmann were seen sharing a hug as the rest of the cast celebrate.

Elvis will be in cinemas from 24 June.
