50 Cent has given a shoutout to the elderly fan who went viral after dancing at his concert.

Mary Jane Farquharson was having the time of her life as she danced to many of the rapper's classics at his show in Birmingham, England earlier this week.

The 64-year-old is so cool she is often referred to as 'Momma Jane' by her son's pals.

And a recent video of certainly proved just that as it racked up thousands of views on social media.

The majority of 50 Cent's fans are of the younger generation, so Mary did stick out a bit like a sore thumb in the Birmingham crowd.

But that was for all the right reasons as a fellow fan filmed her busting out the moves as she enjoyed the tunes.

Since the clip went viral, 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, has even given a Mary a shoutout on his X (formerly known as Twitter) account.

"The coolest person at my show tonight by far, she was rocking wit me," he penned on the social media platform.

In a later tweet promoting his London concert, the rapper added: "Now I’m sure she was the coolest person at the show! LONDON tonight."

Since her sudden rise to fame, Mary has spoken to countless media outlets about how it feels to go viral overnight... literally.

Waking up the next morning after the concert, Mary's phone was buzzing like mad as she quickly became the star of 50 Cent's Birmingham show.

"I didn't take any notice of it," she told the BBC. "I thought, 'I will deal with that later'."

But when she did finally look at her phone, Mary was shocked to discover she had become internet famous.

"All my friends and neighbors were sending me messages," she said as she thought it was initially a 'wind up'.

Mary got into rap music thanks to her 38-year-old son Ross, who was also at the concert with her.

"If you were to visit my room all I have ever got on the telly is MTV," she admitted.

Mary saw that she was being filmed at the concert, but she never believed the camera was focusing on her.

"I was having a whale of time," she said. "I thought he was filming the crowd behind me, I'm not special."

Mary is now hoping to meet 50 Cent in the flesh after going viral.
