Justin Timberlake shares emotional footage of *NSYNC reuniting in the studio for the first time in 20 years

The iconic boyband is back and fans are hoping a world tour is on the cards.

Fans of *NSYNC have been whipped into an understandable frenzy this week.

They were just like Taylor Swift when the dynamic boyband reunited on stage for the first time in a decade at the MTV VMAs.

Justin Timberlake, Chris Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass awarded her a Video Music Award and she couldn't believe her eyes and ears.

Swift demanded to know why they were at the glitzy event.

“Are you doing something? What’s going to happen now?” she asked.

She just couldn’t cope as she said to the crowd of music fans and celebrities: “They’re doing something and I need to know what it is.”

They certainly added fuel to the fire when they shared a clip referencing a Friends scene.

Timberlake could be seen lip-syncing to Joey’s line: "Do you know something?" In response, Chasez, chimed in with Rachel saying: "I might know something, too.”

Well, it only took a day or so for *NSYNC to confirm they were back in the studio and were about to drop their first song in more than 20 years.

The last time they released a track was all the way back in 2002 with 'Girlfriend'.

Justin Timberlake has shared emotional footage of them reuniting to record their latest material, which will be a part of the upcoming Trolls 3: Trolls Band Together film.

"When the stars align… got my brothers back together in the studio to work on something fun and the energy was special," he said.

In the video, he said the song would be a 'love letter' to their fans and that it would be an 'honor' to have the rest of the boys on the track.

People were blown away to see the group back together, even if it's just for one song.

"This low key made me a little emotional watching them create again," said one fan.

Another added: "Omg. My inner child is healing. Okay, seriously, just tell me what organs I’m going to have to sell to afford tickets for the reunion tour. I’m in. No matter what."

A third wrote: "Seeing them in the studio all together… I sincerely have no words."

'Better Place' will be available to stream or download on September 29 while Trolls 3: Trolls Band Together is released on November 17.
