Panic! at the Disco have announced they're splitting up after their upcoming European tour.
To be fair they've had a long run, having formed back in 2004 with Brendon Urie remaining as the band's lead singer.
The news was shared on the group's official Instagram page today (January 24), with Urie posting a lengthy statement.

"Well, it’s been a hell of a journey," he wrote.
"Growing up in Vegas I could’ve never imagined where this life would take me. So many places all over the world, and all the friends we’ve made along the way.
"But sometimes a journey must end for a new one to begin. We’ve been trying to keep it to ourselves, though some of you may have heard... Sarah and I are expecting a baby very soon!
"The prospect of being a father and getting to watch my wife become a mother is both humbling and exciting. I look forward to this next adventure.

"That said, I am going to bring this chapter of my life to an end and put my focus and energy on my family, and with that Panic! At The Disco will be no more."
The frontman added: "Thank you all for your immense support over the years. I’ve sat here trying to come up with the perfect way to say this and I truly can’t put into words how much it has meant to us.
"Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or are just finding us, it has been a pleasure to not only share the stage with so many talented people but also share our time with you.
"I am looking forward to seeing everyone in Europe and the UK for one last run together.

Yes, it looks like Urie's ready to put the mic down and turn his focus to raising a family.
The news is bittersweet for the fans, with many both congratulating the singer while also expressing their sadness over the end of the band.

A third quipped: "Now I’m all panic and no disco."
Speaking of which, Panic! At The Disco recently suffered a literal panic at the disco as a fire broke out during one of their shows.

The incident unfolded at St Paul’s Xcel Energy Center in Minnesota in September last year as part of their 'Viva Las Vengeance' tour 2022 and 2023.
According to one social media user (@purplecoati) and 'avid' concert goer Rust, the onstage blaze was caused by the pyro machine.
Fortunately, other members of the team were quick to grab a fire extinguisher and put the fire out, and the music was able to continue.
As they say, the show must go on – but they won't be able to say this much longer now that the band has an expiration date.
Once their tour is done, there'll be no more panic and no more discos for the foreseeable future.
