Taylor Swift and Beyoncé fans are raging over the sale of 'obstructed' and 'no view' tickets, with many claiming they are being charged over the odds for the seats.
Both stars are currently performing across the US in their global tours; Beyoncé is playing her Renaissance World Tour after completing her European leg, and Swift is performing on her Eras tour.
However, some fans are not happy with the alleged high prices of their concert tickets, with some forking out hundreds to attend.

But it's not just the price of regular tickets that Swifties or members of the Beyhive are complaining about, but the sale of ‘obstructed view’ seats.
Typically, obstructed view seats will come with a warning that you may not have a complete view of the show or there will be something in your line of sight – such as a pole, structure or sound booth.
These tickets do mean fans can see the show for less, as they are usually shown at a reduced price. But there’s claims that fans can’t actually ‘see’ the show at all.

Videos from Swift’s recent Eras shows see fans in the obstructed view seats – sold for $49 – which are positioned right behind the main stage. So you can’t actually see the ‘Love Story’ singer work her musical magic.
Instead, the fans just have to hope she spends the majority of the time on the walkway, where they can watch her from behind.
A TikTok video posted by @annanallick showed her view from the obstructed seats in Minneapolis, placed towards the back of the stage.
To make things a little better, there is also a large screen placed on the side so they can still watch what’s going on.

Plus, Anna wrote ‘it’s worth it to see the cleaning cart and to say bye to Taylor’ as at the end of the show, they were able to see the singer exiting the stage with her team, waving goodbye to them.
She even wrote: "There are no bad seats at The Eras Tour! Had more fun here than on the floor at Glendale night 1."
However, on X, some fans called the price of the tickets 'f***ing ridiculous', despite their discounted price.
“These Taylor Swift ticket prices are insane. $800 minimum for an obstructed view in the nosebleeds and halfway to God,” raged one fan.

At Beyoncé’s shows, fans are claiming they are being sold tickets that hadn’t been advertised as restricted view but were still obstructed.
A user shared a snap of their floor seat at Renaissance to X, showing one of the platform stages on the walkway obstructing their view of the main stage.
They wrote: “Not me getting floor tickets to Beyoncé and this monstrous thing is in my way... TF so disappointed. It did not say obstructed view.”

However, fans on social media have still praised the concerts – arguing it’s worth the price for the experience put on by the performers.
