O.J. Simpson Could Be About To Confess To 1994 Murder
A friend of O.J. Simpson has claimed that O.J. will make a murder confession in 2017 if he’s released from jail.
Ron Shipp, a former police officer, told the New York Daily News that Simpson’s ‘total torment’ over the murder can only be ended if he admits to killing Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman back in 1994.
The guy is in total torment today. Someone told me he is 300 pounds and he looks horrible. O.J. has always felt his appearance meant everything and now, deep down inside, he is starting to live with himself.
Although Simpson was originally acquitted of the murders in 1995 following a highly publicised trial, he is currently locked up in Nevada for armed robbery, after he robbed a sports memorabilia dealer at a hotel in Las Vegas in 2007.
According to Complex, Simpson could be released ‘as soon as next year,’ which is when Shipp thinks Simpson will make his confession.
Shipp added: “I hope one day he actually will rid us of all the doubt and all the conspiracy theories and say ‘sorry I cannot go to prison [because of double jeopardy laws], but I am sorry I did it'”.
During Simpson’s double-murder trial Shipp revealed that the Juice ‘kind of jokingly’ told him he’d had ‘some dreams’ of killing Nicole.
Shipp told the Daily News: “I didn’t really see him at the time doing that because of my love for him. I didn’t want to believe the things I saw,” adding that his prior ‘mixed feelings’ about the trial had vanished.
