Hacktivist group Anonymous have weighed into the debate on Sandra Bland’s death in police custody.
Bland was taken into custody by a Texas state trooper and was subsequently found dead in her cell, with the police claiming she killed herself.
There’s been huge speculation about this verdict, however, and now Anonymous have weighed in with their opinion on the matter.
They are adamant she was murdered.
They lay out their case in this video, running through a list of evidence to back up their argument, and they make some pretty damning points.
The group say they are ‘enraged’ by the actions of the police, and have called for Americans to ‘commit to a day of rage’ in memory of Sandra Bland, and in protest of police brutality in general – they’ve called this ‘Operation Rage for Sandra’.
