Thousands of Aussie tradespeople have been told to stop working if temperatures continue to plummet.
The freezing weather has meant that outdoor workers in Victoria have been advised to put their tools down if the weather hits 1C or less.
During the first week of winter, temperatures dropped into low single digits and has brought concerns for worker wellbeing, reports The Australian.

The Victorian Trades Hall Council also claims that outdoor workers 'should be stood by on full pay' if it gets too frosty.
Breaks of up to 30 minutes per hour have also been encouraged if weather dips below 9C, as per Daily Mail.
Although the general guidelines suggest that half-hour breaks only really need to be taken if the temperatures are between 1C and 4C.
Sky Weather said: "Another polar blast is set to head towards southeast Australia this weekend.

"That’s going to set up a prolonged cold spell through much of next week.
"It’s a very wintry weather pattern that’s developing through this weekend. We’ve got a cold front approaching and a cut-off low pressure system moving through eastern Australia."
Weatherzone added: "Wind should ease on Tuesday into Wednesday, although another frontal system could cause winds to restrengthen from Thursday and possibly linger into the weekend."
Meanwhile, Australia's Bureau of Meteorology have said that sheep could freeze to death due to the freezing temperatures, Daily Mail report.

The Bureau said: "Sheep graziers are warned that cool temperatures and moderate winds are expected during Saturday, following rainfall today and early Saturday morning.
"Areas likely to be affected include parts of the Darling Downs and Granite Belt forecast district (in southeast Queensland).
"There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions."
On Friday (3 June) they added: "On the weekend and early next week a series of troughs and cold fronts will cross southeastern Australia, bringing a return to cold and blustery conditions to much of the state.

"Heading into this evening, there is a chance of rain in parts of NSW, while snow is possible in the Snowy Mountains.
"Unseasonable rain, storms and cold conditions across the Pilbara and Kimberley in WA have now eased but below average temperatures will linger into next week, including for parts of NT and SA."
