Fallout 4, and Witcher 3. One, a harrowing post apocolyptic adventure set across a war torn, yet beautiful world. The other, a harrowing fantasy adventure set across a war torn yet beautiful world. Which one is better? That’s for you to decide.
At any rate, they’re two amazing games that have claimed the social lives of many gamers. If you want to try and claw a few years back (or save some arguments), you could always just combine the two – which is precisely what one plucky Fallout 4 modder has done.
Geralt’s Prologue Gears was created by Nexus Mods user Renn, and allows players to adventure across the Commonwealth in Geralt’s gear (at least the gear he starts the Witcher 3 in). Downloading this mod will also net you a Witcher wolf mask, and a neat crossbow weapon.
You can see the clothes in all their glory in the video below, as well as the crossbow in action.
Incidentally, if you’re wondering just how this mod managed to get the details down so accurately, Witcher 3 developer CD Projekt Red actually gave the modder permission to use official textures and models from their game. Their only caveat was that the mod can’t be used for anything racist, offensive, or illegal.
Fallout 4 mods are constantly adding value to the post apocalyptic adventure by bringing in great new content – such as this mod, that incorporates characters from Metal Gear Solid.
