Britney Spears' Ex-Husband Jason Alexander Arrested After Crashing Wedding

Yesterday, 9 June, Spears married her partner of five years Sam Asghari at her home in Los Angeles.

Britney Spears' ex-husband, Jason Alexander, was arrested after crashing the pop princess's wedding.

Yesterday (9 June), Spears married Sam Asghari, her partner of five years, at her home in Los Angeles.

A host of famous faces attended – including an impromptu visit from Spears' ex-husband Jason Alexander, who decided to 'crash' the event.

Posting on Instagram Live earlier that day, Alexander said he was there to 'crash' the wedding.

He said of Spears: "She’s my first wife, my only wife," adding: "I’m her first husband" and that he was 'here to crash the wedding'.

Alexander then approached security, and when officers found a warrant out for the wedding crasher in another area, he was arrested.

Footage of the incident has been shared to social media.

In January 2004, Spears married Alexander – her childhood friend – for 55 hours before getting an annulment.

That October she would marry Kevin Federline, with whom she had her two sons, Sean and Jayden.

She has been dating Asghari since 2016, when the pair met on the set of the 'Slumber Party' music video.

In a 2017 radio interview with AMP 103.7, Spears said that she found Asghari's number in her bag when the shoot wrapped.

"I found his number in my bag. I was like, ‘He is really cute. This guy is really cute.

"So then I called him, and ever since then, he is just a really fun, funny person," Spears said.

Asghari has been with Spears ever since and through every step of her legal battle to end her controversial conservatorship 13 year long conservatorship in November 2021.

Speaking to People in February that year, Asghari said of his now wife: "I have always wanted nothing but the best for my better half, and will continue to support her following her dreams and creating the future she wants and deserves.

"I am thankful for all of the love and support she is receiving from her fans all over the world, and I am looking forward to a normal, amazing future together," he went on to add.

And despite Alexander's attempts to crash the event, Spears and Asghari were married, with Brandon Cohen, a representative of Asghari, saying: "I am very ecstatic this day has come, and they are married. I know he wanted this for so long. He is so caring and supportive every step of the way," as reported by Sky News.
