EA recently released their own stylish campaign trailer for Battlefield 1. Not to be outdone, Activision has put out their own trailer for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.
Obviously, the new trailer works at highlighting just how good the overhauled campaign looks on modern consoles, and it succeeds in that job – this is one slick looking game.
Of course, anyone that played Modern Warfare back in the day will remember that it offered one of the most thoughtful and cinematic single-player experiences we’ve ever seen from a first-person shooter.
A fresh lick of paint and some smart upgrades makes this already great looking classic even more attractive than I remember – there are some lovely lighting effects, and the detail of Price’s eyebrows? Forget about it.
Well, I never thought I’d be impressed by an eyebrow in a videogame, yet here we are.
Check out the trailer below, and get hyped to relive an absolute classic.
Unfortunately, the only way you’ll be able to get your mitts on Modern Warfare Remastered is to pick up the pricey premium version of Infinite Warfare, a game that was about as well received as a fart in a lift.
Rumours abound that we’ll be able to get the remaster separately at some point, though I can’t imagine that’ll happen for a while.
Still, anyone who has pre-purchased a Legacy or Digital Deluxe Edition of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare on PS4 will be able to play the Modern Warfare Remastered campaign 30 days early, beginning October 5.
Everyone else will have to wait till Infinite Warfare launches for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 4.
