Everybody loves The Chase, the loveable family quiz show on ITV every weekday. But what you probably wouldn’t expect from it, is a pretty audible F-bomb.
But it turns out that the nerves, the pressure, and the chance of winning a tonne of free cash, escalated to the point of no return last night, with one contestant losing his calm in a brief moment of madness.
Up against Shaun ‘The Dark Destroyer’ Wallace, the team were asked a question about German composer J.S Bach, but after getting it wrong, one team member, Leo, uttered a desperate and aggravated pre-watershed ‘fuck’ under his breath.
According to the Huffington Post, The Dark Destroyer also came under his fair share of stress during the game, leading some viewers to feel far from impressed.
Apparently the chaser was asked, ‘which Nestle chocolate bar shares its name with a big cat?’.
Instead of quickly answering the obvious, ‘lion bar’, Wallace stumbled and went blank:
Awful performance – why is this guy a chaser?Missed so many easy questions- Lion bar! #thechase
