You look like the kind of person that wants to take a peek at the first 45 minutes of Final Fantasy 15 – am I right?
I’m hoping at least one of you just whispered ‘yes’ to your phone/computer/magic typewriter, since that’s exactly what you’re about to see (via Polygon).
The footage – captured on PlayStation 4 – is largely spoiler free, but you should obviously be aware that if you want to go into the adventure completely fresh, you should go away and wait for the game to come out.
Our adventure begins in the desert of Leide. In classic Final Fantasy fashion, there are ridiculously good looking blokes with stupid giant hair, and a woman who either forgot to put a shirt on that morning, or just gives no fucks (good for her either way).
Check it out below for a glimpse at some of the witty banter (such as ‘OMG’), as well as driving, combat, exploration, and general fuckaboutery.
Final Fantasy 15 will release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 29.
The game was supposed to come out back in September, but the team decided it wanted to do all it could to iron out any pesky bugs and avoid a Day One patch if at all possible.
Can you imagine if they still needed a Day One patch after all that fuss? I certainly wouldn’t want to be around the internet on release day if that turned out to be the case.
