Conor McGregor has yet another strong-minded message for his prospective opponent, Floyd Mayweather.
While ringside at Michael Conlan’s debut in New York City on St. Patrick’s Day, McGregor rallied his fellow Irish fighter to victory.
Still firing on all cylinders, The Notorious then focused all attention on his own ring ambitions, attacking the boxing press outside the US venue.
Rather overshadowing a ‘debut I have dreamt of all my life’ for Mick Conlan, McGregor engaged in a heated exchange with esteemed ESPN boxing reporter Dan Rafael.
Amid ever-increasing speculation over the fight of the century between McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, the Irishman made his stance clear and his intentions to take over boxing plain.
He threw plenty of vocal jabs, saying:
You’re the boxing guy? I’m the boxing guy. Watch me take over boxing! Trust me on that.
No one in this boxing game knows what’s coming. Trust me on that. When I step in there, I’m going to shock the whole goddamn world. Trust me on that.
Look me in the eyes. Twenty-eight years of age, confident as a motherfucker, long, rangy, dangerous with every hand. Trust me, I’m going to stop Floyd and you’re all going to fucking eat your words. The whole world is going to eat their words.

Do you trust him? McGregor’s declaration comes just a few days after Dana White told Conan O’Brien there is too much money at stake for the fight to fall by the wayside.
