90’s gamers rejoice! Crash Bandicoot is back on PlayStation 4, and he’s looking better than ever before.
During E3 2016, Sony announced that the revered fuzzy orange one would be coming back as part of a remastered trilogy of the original games – and fans will be glad to know that the classic platforming gameplay we all know and love looks largely unchanged.
Indeed, the only noticeable change is that the visuals look way, way better – check it out below.
Dubbed Crash Bandicoot: The N’Sane Trilogy, players will be treated to the first three (and best) games in the franchise.
Originally developed by Naughty Dog (who moved on to the likes of Uncharted and The Last of Us), the remaster is to be handled by Vicarious Visions.
Obviously they’ve been smart enough to realise that these games are classics for a reason, and seem happy enough to have left the music, sound effects, and gameplay alone.
Crash Bandicoot: The N’Sane Trilogy will be released exclusively on PlayStation 4 in 2017.
