Gypsy Rose Blanchard has responded to claims her TikTok account was hacked just a matter of days after she was released from prison.

Gypsy, 32, was sentenced to ten years in prison in 2016 after she pleaded guilty to her role in the killing of her mother, Clauddine 'Dee Dee' Blanchard.

For years, Dee Dee convinced others that Gypsy was a terminally ill child, making her use a wheelchair, shaving her head, and forcing her to take medication she didn't need.
Things came to a head when Gypsy met Nicholas 'Nick' Godejohn online. The pair plotted to kill Dee Dee, who was murdered by Godejohn in 2015.
While she was sentenced to ten years behind bars in 2016, Gypsy was granted release last month after serving seven years of her sentence.
Since being released, Gypsy has bragged about her sex life while also hitting back at ‘jealous’ hate comments criticizing her husband.

Gypsy has also been pretty active on TikTok recently, first going to the popular video platform to promote her new book Released: Conversations on the Eve of Freedom that releases on Tuesday (9 January).
The former prison inmate has updated followers with behind the scenes footage of a press day for her documentary and a recent trip to New York.
However, many followers spotted recently that Gypsy's username was changed to 'userdgjhnguj5f' and her profile picture was removed.
Now, Gypsy has addressed the 'TikTok drama' in a new video, confirming that her account had been hacked.

"Hey y'all so my TikTok was just hacked, we have a suspicion of who it could be but we've changed the password now so I'm back in control of the account right now," she said.
"Don't freak out just yet, I'm back in control. Just bear with me, this is the first time it's ever happened, it's kind of crazy so, just be aware that happened."
It comes after the 32-year-old spoke more surrounding the death of her mother in an interview with Good Morning America.
"I didn’t want her dead, I just wanted out of my situation and I thought that was the only way out," Gypsy said in the sit-down chat that aired on Friday (January 5).

Despite years of abuse, she added: "I don’t believe my mother was a monster. She had a lot of demons herself that she was struggling with."
