'Slave' who murdered dominatrix's boyfriend is set to be sentenced

The Australian man was asked by his dominatrix to confront her boyfriend after an argument

The ‘slave’ who murdered a dominatrix’s boyfriend is set to be sentenced.

Nicholas Cameron was left ‘fighting for his life’ after being rushed by a man in his apartment building in Melbourne, Australia just after midnight.

His attacker, Stuart Lindsay Heron, was later arrested by police who arrived at the scene just six minutes later in July 2021.

Cameron, 39, was fatally injured between two cars and was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:45am.

Heron plead guilty to murdering Cameron earlier this year and returned before the Victorian Supreme Court on Monday (21 August).

He claimed he didn’t know the man and had spent hours waiting to confront him after seeing him ‘dealing ice to kids, the New York Post reports.

However, that wasn’t quite the case, as crown prosecutor Elizabeth Ruddle KC told the court that the 50-year-old had been instructed by his dominatrix to ‘confront’ Cameron, her boyfriend.

Heide Bos was Cameron's girlfriend and Heron's dominatrix.

Heron had met Heide Bos on FetLife just two months prior, where she went by the name ‘Hedonistic Siren’, and soon entered a dominant/submissive relationship, Justice Michael Croucher said.

She told her ‘slave’ all about her relationship issues and, around 31 June 2021, she asked him if he’d be able to 'confront' Cameron or get him out of town.

Heron replied: “I’m 99.9 percent sure I can convince him to never to contact or speak to you again m‘lady.”

He kept two folders on his phone, named ‘target’, where he kept Cameron's apartment listing, a floor plan of his home, photographs of his dog and the code for the lockbox, while the other folder, ‘Heide’, included screenshots of his conversations with Bos.

After an argument with Cameron, Bos gave Heron the ‘go-ahead’ on 9 July, calling her boyfriend an 'ungrateful f**kwit', the court heard.

Ruddle said: “There was an agreement between Heron and Bos that he would confront and assault Cameron in some sort of ill-conceived plan to get him to go away and stay away.

“But at some point, immediately before or during the confrontation, that plan went awry.”

Cameron suffered 14 separate skull fractures after Heron rushed at the man with a hammer and a knife.

Ruddle added: “He goes to that scene to assault, he’s armed and he takes him by surprise.

“Mr Cameron fought for his life … what he did that day, in the car park, is inexplicable.”

According to Heron’s barrister Richard Blackwell, he had lived a ‘normal life’ before meeting Bos.

“There’s really nothing, apart from when he gets involved with Bos, that indicates that he’d end up sitting where he’s sitting,” he said.

“He planned a confrontation slash assault and brought weapons with him … There‘s no doubt this is a serious example of murder, given the number of blows to the head and stab wounds.”

He said his client had described the ordeal as the ‘worst decision’ of his life.

Heron is set to be sentenced at a later date.

Bos was jailed for six years in February after pleading guilty to manslaughter.

She had initially been charged with murder, however, prosecutors accepted that she didn’t know Cameron was going to be killed.
