Dad Who Let Six-Year-Old Daughter Tattoo Him Praised Online

A TikToker has taken to the platform to share videos of his six-year-old tattooing him, sparking praise from viewers.

So much for colouring within the lines, this father has given his daughter a whole new challenge in tattooing her own doodles directly onto his leg.

In August last year, father and tattoo artist Wesley Owens decided to let his young daughter, Adeline, test out her abilities as a fledgling tattoo artist on his own body.

Despite the permanent nature of the inking, Owens has received widespread praise on TikTok for his bold move in letting Adeline test out her designs in the most hands-on way possible.

Check it out:

In his first video showcasing his daughter's skills, Adeline can be seen tattooing a heart she has designed on her dad's leg, with Owens instructing her in the background as to how to wipe over it after drawing the 'masterpiece'.

In a later video, Adeline can be seen adding to her creation with a smiley face next to the heart, being taught by her father how to add more ink into the gun.

Having been allowed to add multiple drawings to her father's leg, Adeline now seems sure to be pathing her way to an excellent career as a tattoo artist if she so chooses.

The initial post has amassed millions of views, with viewers having been left in awe of the girl's skill and the father's openness to letting himself be his daughter's canvas.

Owens explained how Adeline loves 'every second' of the experience, after one follower commented: 'I love how proud she is of her work.'

Another wrote: 'You two must have the strongest bond. This is so precious', to which the single father replied: 'We have to. We depend on each other so much. We have the perfect dynamic.'

One eagle-eyed viewer even spotted a few tatts on Adeline herself, however Owens clarified 'they are temporary'. 'But maybe one day she’ll have real ones,' he added.

Some may shy away from tattoos given their permanence, however, Owens noted the 'memories' that he will be left with as a result of letting his daughter design and tattoo them onto his body.

Worst comes to worst, he can always just get them removed to give way to some more developed designs later on in life once Adeline has had even more practice.
