Even though they cover more than 70 per cent of our Earth, 95 per cent of our oceans have been unexplored – so sometimes, it can be easy to forget we have a whole alien world living right below us.

Russian deep sea fisherman Roman Fedorstov is here to remind us of that.

Fedorstov works on a fishing trawler in Murmansk, Russia, according to The Moscow Times. That’s in the north. Like, way in the north.

And it seems when you’re a deep sea fisherman placed that far north, you catch some pretty fucking terrifying stuff.

Through his Twitter account, Fedorstov takes his followers on a journey that would make anyone’s skin crawl. He loads his feed with dozens of images of the nightmare-inducing creatures he says are caught in his net while deep sea fishing.

To be honest, they look like they were ripped straight from the depths of hell.

This guy should get his own show.
