Despite facing 25 years behind bars, it seems as if Jamie Lee Komoroski is feeling optimistic about her future.
Komoroski is accused of killing a newlywed bride on her wedding day, after Samantha Miller was hit by her car that was travelling at 65mph in an area with a 25mph limit.
Miller's groom, Aric Hutchinson, was also involved in the devastating ordeal but survived his injuries.
Komoroski's blood levels were later tested and she was found to be three times over the legal alcohol limit, sparking the 26-year-old's arrest.

Less than a year after the fatal crash, Komoroski has been released on bond.
Earlier this month, the young woman's bond was posted at $150,000, which her father is believed to have paid for. She's now on house arrest.
Prosecutors had a March 2024 deadline to bring Komoroski to trial, but they failed to meet it.
While she faces one count of reckless homicide, one count of felony DUI resulting in death and two counts of DUI resulting in injury, it seems as if Komoroski has been trying to stay optimistic.
In a phone call from October obtained by The New York Post between Komoroski (who was still in custody at the time) and her sister Kelsi, the alleged drunk driver said that she 'trust[s] that everything is going to work out'.

Komoroski told her sibling on October 8: "It’s so funny because when you’re in a bad situation, you’re so upset and you’re distraught.
"But in the future when you see your future self looking back at that time you wish you could tell yourself in that moment: ‘Stop freaking out, stop crying, it’s going to be ok. You’re happy now. And there’s no point being so upset. Everything is going to work out.'"
Elsewhere, Kelsi said said everyone has moments where they think 'it’s the end of the world' - but it never is.
Komoroski responded: "Right. Two years down the road you’re living your best life and you’re so happy and it’s OK. You’re fine.
"You can’t control everything. It’s very peaceful to just sit there and be like ‘I can’t control the situation right now, all I can do is the best next thing’."

In another phone call with her dad that was previously obtained by The Post as well, Komoroski shared her hopes of her father walking her down the aisle one day.
"I want you to be at my wedding," she told him. "I want you to walk me down the aisle. I want you to be with me. I want to go on walks with you."
